#21 Days of Hope during COVID-19

COVID-19 has presented incredible challenge around the world, but for some, the suffering has been much greater than others. National lockdowns have left the poorest and most vulnerable - who were surviving on daily wages and small businesses – starving and without food to eat. Isolation also increased the loneliness and pain of those living with trauma.

For us at Compelled By Love, we’ve been working closely with our partners to adapt and respond, with most of our programs being put on hold, and the communities we work together with presenting different needs, including need for the most basic items like food, soap and masks.

This is just the beginning, as we adapt and adjust to new needs that have arisen during this pandemic, and seek to keep walking alongside communities. We’ve been asking people to #practicegenerosity and spread hope, even though we’re all experiencing such difficult days. We’re so thankful to each person that has made a difference so far – thank you for being a part of such a massive impact. Thank you for caring.

Thank you for taking action.

We need your ongoing support to continue the work we do, both now in the midst of this pandemic, as well as into the future.

Here’s how you can make a difference:

Being an ongoing part of transformation in people’s lives – who wouldn’t want to get in on that?!

Thank you for all you do. It truly makes a difference, and it truly matters.

Thanks to the amazing generosity of our supporters, we’ve been able to distribute two weeks’ worth of food to more than 2,000 people, impacting over 500 families.

We’ve also distributed 1,284 reusable masks in Rwanda, to enable people to leave their homes to purchase food and to visit each other according to current lockdown rules
